Job Description

Location:CreweHourly rate: £8.95+/ £18,616+Shift patterns:5/2 pattern -8.95/9.60ph 15 hours - NightsIntegra Healthcare is currently looking for Team Manager for our client. The role will be providing supervision and support for children and young people aged 8-18. The children and young people we care for have a wide variety of needs andmay have experienced high levels of trauma.Main responsibilities:Responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Towork ina positive,respectful, andempoweringway with allyoung peopleinorder to promotegoodrelationships andencourage achievement.
  • Toensure the therapeutic care of young people consistently and proactively.
  • Toact,where appropriate,as key worker toaparticular young person to providesupport andensuretheimplementation oftheir individual care plan.
  • Tointeractonanindividualandgroupbasiswith allyoungpeople.
  • Toactivelyparticipateinsocial,recreational, andeducational activities with theyoungpeople.
  • Toparticipateinandencouragetheparticipationoftheyoungpeoplein thedomestic tasks ofthehomeinorder todevelop theself-care skills.
  • Totakeanactiveinterestineachyoungpersons educational developmentand achievements.
  • Tomaintain,where appropriate, all necessaryrecords ina timely mannerandtoa highstandard.
  • Toliaiseandcollaborate positively with parents andpartner agenciesto ensurethatthebestinterests oftheyoungpeopleare respectedand promoted atalltimes.
  • Toremainwellinformed aboutlatest practice,researchpolicyand legislative developmentsinrelationtochildcare.
Skills and Experience:
  • Drivers Licence is necessary
  • Organisational skills to plan workload, good written/verbal communication skills
  • Able to work as part of a team.
  • A good knowledge base of the needs of the people with disability.
  • A non-discriminatory approach.
  • DBS Update service registered
  • Relevant certifications and qualifications and mandatory training e.g. safeguarding, basic life support
  • Right to work in the UK
