Job Description

A great new permanent opportunity to join a Global Digital Publishing company located in West Sussex. I am looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with demonstrable experience working within CMS and integration projects. Working on a new largerproject from start to finish from vendor and product selection, then with the assistance of the experienced technical team, onto design and build right through to roll out and implementation.Working closely with the Project and wider IT team, you will have experience of working with third parties, internal departments, the technical and development teams, vendors and suppliers. Possessing outstanding communication skills, you will enjoy communicatingwith Senior Stakeholders.Although the CMS re-platform will be the main focus in the first 1-2 years of this role, there will be plenty of opportunity to work on smaller concurrent projects as and when they arise in the business. This is a varied and rewarding role for a talentedTechnical Project Manager.Skills/Experience/Attributes:

  • A minimum of five years experience as a Technical Project Manager - ideally running CMS projects
  • Ability to lead a large project team
  • Supplier and Vendor selection and management
  • Experience of working within an Agile and Waterfall environment
  • A previous technical background would be useful
  • Experience of writing user stories
  • End to end project management experience is essential
  • The Ability to communicate technical requirements between the business and the technical/development team
  • Strong attention to detail and diligence
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong team leadership and planning
  • Budget management skills
  • Experience of: Drupal, SiteCore, or Adobe CQ.
  • Knowledge of PHP is desirable
  • Adaptable, pro active with excellent time management
  • The ability to set and manage realistic expectations
The role offers flexible working. A minimum of one day per week in the office, the rest working from home. Attendance in the office for Team/Project meetings as required.
