Job Description

Frontier Pitts Ltd is the acknowledged leader in perimeter security equipment, including automatic Gates, Barriers, Bollards and Roadblockers. Our expertise in design and manufacture is the result of over 90 years experience and we are accredited to ISO9001.With around 100 staff based at our headquarters in Crawley, West Sussex, we provide a complete range of services including design, site surveys, manufacture, installation, civil and electrical services, maintenance, spares, repair or refurbishment and fullproject management, all backed up by a fully comprehensive customer service programme.We are now seeking a Stores Person to join the team working in our busy industrial manufacturing environment.Duties include:

  • Receiving and booking goods onto the system
  • Issuing and booking out goods on the system
  • Ensuring stock is maintained in a tidy manner
  • Regular stock checks are made
  • Packing for despatch & liaising with couriers
Skills
  • Able to work under pressure in a fluid environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Accuracy in checking and inputting
  • A basic understanding of engineering would be an advantage but is not essential
  • A good team player
  • Numerate
  • Organised
  • Counterbalanced forklift licence or experience (if licence has expired). (Experience in moving heavy oversized items would be an advantage).
