    • Job Description A leading Telecommunications company are looking to recruit a Project Manager to join their team in Sussex. Due to recently being awarded several new contracts within the London and South East, this national based Telecommunications provider are currently recruiting for the position of Project Manager. The position will be based in their Sussex offices on a permanent basis with a very competitive salary. We are looking for a Project Manager to work for this leading Telecoms company in Sussex. The role is working as part of an expanding team and will be responsible for projects both internally and customer facing externally. The projects will be around MPLS, WAN/ LAN, Ethernet, ADSL and FTTC therefore you will ideally be from a Telecoms/ISP background. In terms of formal methodology, Prince 2 is used therefore certifications such as P rince 2 Foundation is required as a minimum. This role would suit a Project Coordinator or Junior Project Manager thats looking for an opportunity to take that next step. Any previous experience in provisioning, service delivery or similar is also very beneficial. Equally, if youre an experienced Project Manager with the relevant background and looking to work for a growing and dynamic company then this is the role for you. What will you be doing
  • Owning and managing a series of complex / bespoke telecom solutions to the SME market place.
  • Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with great customer experience.
  • Developing and maintaining a detailed project action tracker and risk schedule.
  • Putting together project plans working with MS Project, Word and Excel .
  • Implementing complex telecom solutions
  • Managing a virtual team.
    • Who are you
  • Experience of project management/project coordination in a Telecoms/ISP environment working with Prince 2
  • Prince 2 Foundation certified, ideally studying towards Prince 2 Practitioner
  • Experience of working with WAN/LAN, Ethernet, EFM, MPLS circuits
  • Knowledge and demonstrable experience of project planning processes, techniques and methodologies
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Solid understanding of complex Telecom solutions with assumed understanding of WAN
