Job Description

Senior IT Service Desk Analyst - Crawley - c£35,000 - £40,000A Senior IT Service Desk Analyst required for this Crawley based post. As the senior member of a small IT Service Desk youll be responsible for managing the day-to-day allocation of support tickets and overseeing their resolution. The team provide predominantly1st & 2nd line and some 3rd line support on desktop applications, telephony, cloud solutions, Google Suite, Microsoft technologies and various hardware platforms including network devices.The responsibilities are varied and include; * Deliver 1st, 2nd and 3rd Line support - PCs, Printers, Phones, Mobiles, Tablets, Laptops, software, Apps.* Lead the IT Service Desk by providing first class service support in accordance with best practice.* Evaluate and assign service desk tickets, tracking and reporting on incidents and service requests raised. Ensure all tickets are progressed and resolved in accordance with SLAs.* Provide users with current and effective IT resources and facilitate access to the appropriate information systems.* Provide expertise relating to desktop hardware, applications and operating systems, investigating and resolving queries.* Install, customise, configure and maintain IT hardware and software.* Issue equipment and maintain inventories.* Assist in the procurement and commissioning of IT hardware and software.* Liaise with 3rd party IT support, phone support and internal users to ensure quality of service and minimise user downtime.* Act as point of escalation for various IT issues, providing both on site and remote support.* Assist in the delivery of new systems as part of a project team and be responsible for managing release to production, providing ongoing supportTo be suitable for his position candidates will be expected to have most (if not all) of the following skills, knowledge and experience; * Experience in similar IT Support / Service Desk role.* Experience with Active Directory User and Security administration.* In depth knowledge of Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365 (Google Suite experience would be advantageous).* Experience with various server configurations; Domain, File, Exchange & SQL servers.* Working with infrastructure team on network device maintenance, server patching and troubleshooting LAN/WAN/VPN connectivity issues.* Experience using remote client management tools.* Experienced in managing 3rd parties in the delivery of IT services (printers, etc).* Experience with IT ticket systems managing priorities, workload and SLAs.* Familiar with ITIL.
