Sales ManagerRailway Communications & Security Systems - required by communications company based in Crawley, West Sussex. Salary £40K plus commission. OTE £58K+.Established for over 20 years, we provide specialist communication and security solutions to a global market, predominantly for the Transportation Industry. As an integral part of our business growth plans into the UK railway markets, we have an exceptionalopportunity for an ambitious, driven individual looking for a challenging and rewarding step up in their established career. Our aim is to provide quality products and services by providing technically complex ULV (Ultra Low Voltage) solutions. Regular UKwide travel will be required for this role.The purpose of this role is to play a critical part in the promotion of our core business, delivering the sales of turnkey solutions and products alike. You will ensure that we maintain a high profile in the railway, security and communications market by buildingand developing relationships so that our clients continue to trust our brand to deliver on their demands. Responsibilities:-Building, upgrading, and maintaining rail infrastructure opportunities.-Create innovative ways to sell new business to potential customers, understanding how technology can best be used to create productivity and technical improvements.-Contribute to innovation and cost saving in the industry.-Driving revenue generation in the Infrastructure market by exploiting new and existing relationships whilst discovering new lines of business opportunities with existing clients.-Supporting the companys strategy and assisting with building a comprehensive sales and marketing plan.-Ongoing market analysis and industry knowledge to build expertise that is unparalleled amongst our competition.-Long term engagement with key industry customers and stakeholders, with clear strategies specific to each opportunity and customer.-Negotiate commercial terms for sales opportunities ensuring a contract is drafted with support from the internal team.-Work closely with the business implementation, commercial team and other key internal stakeholders to ensure we design innovative responses to sales opportunities.-Managing the full circle customer experience including engagement and deal closing.-Act as a brand ambassador by championing the company values and inspiring others within the organisation.-Maintain effective targeting and pipeline management processes, ensuring next steps selling is applied to increase conversions, transaction values and creation of sustainable accounts.-Work as a prolific connector within and outside the Railway and engage in a wide range of networking events to build relationships with Rail professionals across multiple organisations.Qualifications:-You have experience of business and customer relationship / account development at senior levels and the ability to forge strong, deep relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers alike.-As you are solution orientated and not afraid of challenging the status quo, which means you are familiar with innovative thinking.-Seeing the big picture means you can seek out opportunities where we can sell and build the business.-You have the experience in producing high quality customer proposals and commercial deals, covering multiple services over long-and short-term contract periods.This is an opportunity to join a company with envious products and services in a fast-growing market.Please Apply Now by sending us your CV and a covering letter outlining your attributes and expertise.We look forward to hearing from you.
