Job Description

The Quality Assurance engineer manages, adheres to and improves the business Quality Management System (QMS).The Quality Assurance engineer monitors, measures and improves the quality and efficiency of internal processes and the quality of supplied parts, ensuring high safety and quality standards are met at all times throughout the simulator lifecycle and thatdeliverables meet our customer needs and expectations.The role involves working cross-functionally with the Sourcing, Engineering and Production teams and with our suppliers as required. Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualifications & experience in manufacturing, production, quality or an engineering discipline to at least HND qualified or equivalent. Graduate degree in relevant field is preferable
  • Experience in dealing with suppliers is preferable
  • Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings is preferable
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management system
  • Experience in auditing (internal, external and supplier) preferable
    • An aptitude for problem-solving and use of Quality tools such as 8D, Ishikawa, 5-Why, SPC, Pareto etc.
