This will involve taking full responsibilityfor the profit and loss, people management, financial targets, budgets and risk assessments for post-sale works on electromechanical construction projects across the UK and beyond.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Operations Manager - Service : Construction, IndustrialSupported by a full time Service Administrator, You will have direct line management responsibility for several small service teams located across the country You will also be tasked with building and managing a network of sub-contracted local engineers tosupport as required. You will be responsible for procurement and logistics of resources for projects - both in terms of equipment and people.Key to the role will be working to a budget and reaching financial targets through efficient running of the department. There are currently 40-50 regular maintenance contracts running which you will manage (including negotiating renewals) - alongside quotingfor refurbishments / upgrades packages with existing clients.PERSON SPECIFICATION: Operations Manager - Service : Construction, IndustrialTo be considered for this role, you MUST:· Have a proven track record in an operational capacity working within industrial / manufacturing or construction. Any exposure to pipe installation or water treatment would be a bonus. · Be an experienced and personable Service Manager or Aftersales Manager with a strong entrepreneurial spirit who will take ownership of the Service department. · Have a background in industry / construction or building services (estates management).
