This company are looking for an enthusiastic experienced individual to join their expanding in-house team who has knowledge in fabric, reactive and PPM maintenance, general commercial trades/handy-person skills.You will need to be self-motivated and have the ability to be flexible as your duties require with the ability to communicate on a technical and non-technical level. Strong client focus and exceeding expectations are paramount to this role.Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 depending on experiencePaid travel or van provided depending on location, tools, branded uniform + additional benefitsDuties such as:- Lighting (changing bulbs and tubes)- Water (blockages & leaks, parts issues and testing)- Carpets (tile replacement)- Fixtures and Fittings (hanging pictures & coat hooks, lose hinges & handles etc)- Electrical (fuse replacement & tripped switches, standing desk issues, faulty equipment)- Furniture building and repairs- Bathroom repairs- Complete pre planned and reactive maintenance works for set clientsKey responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:- Support the maintenance services to undertake planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs- Painting and decorating- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, carpentry- Key skills and commitment to providing exceptional customer service- Well-organised, able to work to deadlines and confident in problem-solving- Good communication skills with office staff and clients- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required- Ability to work with smartphone/tablet-based job systemBeneficial additional experience and skills in the following areas:- Experience of commercial office buildings- Knowledge of Health & Safety (COSH/RAMS)The Company:Established in 2007 and based in Hartley, Kent - this company is now recognised as one of the South Easts leading independent facilities services with an in-house service spanning all trades associated with building works, refurbishment, M&E, maintenance andcommercial cleaning supplemented by their comprehensive range of approved specialist subcontractors.Most work is currently within London and the South-East.
