Job Description

LGPS Implementation Analyst - Remote Working (Must Be UK Based)Superb Fintech Corporate Employer -£45,000 - £65,000This highly successful Fintech corporate develops & supports a feature rich LGPS platform and through continued growth, is recruiting an experienced LGPS Implementation Analyst to join their UK based team.Whether you are an experienced LGPS Implementation Analyst, Scheme Administrator or Business Analyst, if you have Pensions Administration tools experience, this supportive team will provide ongoing opportunities for personal & professional growth as they rollout new systems to clients across the UK.Joining the team at this exciting stage of development, the LGPS Implementation Analyst will be joining a function that is not only responsible for the core configuration of the system, but also working closely with the ongoing development of the solution forthe LGPS market, this includes contributing to development plans, reviewing enhancement requests, platform rollouts and producing prototypes for new functionality.This is a great role for those with experience of implementing pensions software for Local Government clients or you are a Pensions Administrator or Pensions Analyst with a good understanding of the Local Government Pension Scheme calculations and processesand is looking for that next step in your career.The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Working across all aspects of the LGPS platform application.
  • Liaising with clients (both internal and external) to understand their requirements for the LGPS platform.
  • Analysing, documenting and estimating client requirements.
  • Configuring and testing the Pensions application.
  • Enhancing and developing the LGPS Model.
  • Improving implementation practices and procedures.
  • Working closely with the development team to refine and improve the system.
Duties Include:
  • Undertaking Requirements Definition analysis on implementation projects or enhancements for existing clients.
  • Analysing changes and enhancements to clients pensions systems.
  • Liaising with clients to define and understand requirements and estimate work.
  • Provide accurate Planning & Control including estimates & deliverables planning.
  • Build & test calculations, data migration and processes including the application of data cleansing and data migration activities when required.
  • Configuration and testing of automation processes inclusive of pension calculations, workflow build, letters and output, reports, employer self-service, member self-service.
  • Align to defined policies and procedures, identifying, where appropriate, any deficiencies in, or opportunities for improvement to, established standards and procedures.
  • Provide supportto the administration teams and clients together with supporting the testing and rollout of the implementation.
  • Interpreting and implementing regulatory changes making use of Regulatory & Pensions Support team advice where necessary.
Preferred Skills & Experience:Educated to degree standard useful but not essential:
  • Experience of using Pension Configuration Tools and MS SQL.
  • Relevant qualifications in the Pensions & Actuarial Industry are desirable (e.g. Pensions Management Institute Certification).
  • Good experience in the Local Government Pensions Schemes (LGPS), either as a Scheme Administrator, Implementation Analyst or Business Analyst, experienced in capturing requirements for Pensions IT Projects.
  • Demonstrable software development capability.
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness & operational efficiencies / income generation.
  • Comfortable taking ownership of all aspects of the role and delivery to client.
