Our client is an established installer of perimeter security hardware including gates, barriers, turnstiles and fencing for commercial and industrial, high security environments throughout the AUK and internationally. They are looking to take on an experiencedinstallations and logistics manager to join their Sussex based team, ensuring that all client installations run smoothly and effectively. Your task will be to oversee and support the 3-4 teams of installation engineers. This will include visiting client sitesprior to any installation taking place to ensure they are is suitably prepared, there is accessibility, no health and safety issues and that clients are fully aware and prepared before anything else happens. You will also be expected to ensure all materialsand equipment are booked in advance and available and sent to site on time. You will allocate tasks to the install teams, ensure they know where they should be, all documentation and safety checks are completed and will be working to company procedures. Youwill be on hand (over the phone or on location) if need be, to resolve any issues or problems and that all services to clients are supplied with minimal issue or disruption. You will be expected to liaise with all internal and external department, suppliers,clients and even subcontractors and keeping them all informed and prepared throughout the process. You will ideally be from a construction background, have knowledge of installation processes, be confident, communicative, professional and supportive. Drivinglicense is essential and ideally you will have an SMSTS card (not essential). This will involve working from their West Sussex depot or working on clients sites anywhere in the UK and working from home. PC literacy and excellent communication skills, bothwritten and verbal are key attributes the job, as is your commitment, independence and professionalism dealing with clients directly or via email/phone.
