An exciting opportunity has emerged for an ASB Caseworker to join one of Badenoch and Clarks most improved Housing clients based in Sussex on an 18 month FTC contract. This is a full time role for 36 hours per week. The purpose of the role is to listen, understand and help resolve neighbourhood nuisance and anti-social behaviour. Our client is looking for a candidate with previous or current experience of: *Managing a portfolio of ASB cases from beginning to end *Ensuring early intervention with the aim of resolving disputes as early as possible *Bringing a successful resolution to the satisfaction of all parties. *Working with, and effectively co-ordinate, all internal and external partners to provide appropriate support and interventions to help resolve issues of ASB *Being the first point of contact for people as the designated case worker. *Providing support and assistance to those affected by ASB. *Maintaining appropriate records and review measures to ensure effective working. *Undertaking the most appropriate method of combating nuisance and anti-social behaviour, monitoring any interventions carried out *Identifying vulnerable victims and ensure they are given appropriate support and advice and are referred to other agencies where appropriate *Making applications to court, and to attend court giving evidence Our client is looking for the following skill set: *Excellent knowledge of ASB tools and powers along with relevant legislation *The ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels*Strong influencing, negotiating skills as well as the ability to solve practical solutions*Strong organisational skills *The ability to work with challenging people and families Only applicants who feel they meet the above criteria and are interested in a fixed term contract position need apply for this post.
