Job Description

Grafton Banks Finance are currently working with a growing well-respected commercial company with offices in Crawley ,West Sussex to recruit a Part Qualified Group Accountant on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Group Financial Controller the main purpose of the job is to ensure all financial aspects of one of the companies entities are completed to the required standard within deadline and support with the production of the management reports.Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Produce Monthly management reports in a timely manner (including balance sheet reports, reporting packs and supporting documents
  • Control and reconcile the balance sheet monthly
  • Ensure all income and costs are recorded in the correct period
  • Monitor and manage Cash flow
  • Ensure the financial accounts and related schedules are completed within the required timescales and in partnerships with external auditors
  • Manage Controls and Risk Management
  • Co-Ordinate and oversee external accounting advisors on all tax related, payroll and accounting matters
  • Management Reporting – over see and support the finance team at month end
  • Group Accounting
  • Reconcile and produce the weekly global bank balance reports and monthly cost analysis reports
  • Track, reconcile and oversee global incentive rebate agreements
  • Assist the Group Reporting Manager with month end and quarterly reporting
  • Any Ad-hoc tasks to support the Group Financial Controller and Group Reporting Manager as and when required
    • The successful candidate will be Part Qualified actively studying towards ACA, ACCA,CIMA . You will need to have experience of working in practice or industry looking to work in a technical all-round finance position. You will need to have strong IT skills including good Excel. A team player as well as working on own initiative as well as excellent communication skills to work and build both internal and external business relationships.
