Job Description

Are you a Finance Assistant seeking to take the next step in your career within an international company providing bespoke services on a global scaleAlexander Lloyd is proud to be partnering with an instantly recognisable brand in their search for a Finance Assistant to join their Finance Team on a permanent basis.This is a hybrid role where you will work 3 days out of the Crawley office and 2 days from home. A broad role, your duties will include but not be limited to;

  • Being the help desk for employee queries
  • Managing the staff expenses mailbox
  • Processing claims and posting the extract file
  • Managing new Barclaycard applications
  • Analysing the G/L selection & appropriate VAT treatment in submitted claims
  • Raising bi-monthly personal expenses BACS runs
  • Calculating and posting monthly company credit card accruals & update actuals
  • Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Supporting the Finance Manager during Audit
Ideally, you will;
  • Be studying towards or fully qualified AAT
  • Have intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, etc.)
  • Have previous experience in managing staff expenses and a good understanding of VAT & double-entry bookkeeping skills
  • Experience in banking/cashiering - dealing with cash
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
