Our client is a world renown manufacturer of robust, high grade perimeter security barriers, fences and gates used in large commercial, government, customs and financial institutions and places were privacy and security is paramount. This role is to workfrom their production depot in West Sussex in the final assembly department. Your task will be to take all the manufactured components and drawings and conduct a final assembly of the product to ensure everything is in order, built to size and can be re assembledonce on site with confidence and peace of mind. You will also be expected to run any tests for opening and closing control panels to ensure full working order and that all motors, sensors and switches are fully operational and reliable. Once all assembly,tests and checks have been completed, you will then complete all acceptance tests and documentation, dis-assemble and pack up ready for shipping anywhere in the world.Due to the size and nature of some of these components, you will need to be competent withworking with sizeable equipment, have confidence to operate hoists and lifting equipment, be mechanically experienced and confident to understand issues and possibly make some slight alterations/reworks of brackets or components on a bench using basic handtools, drills, grinders etc taking pride in everything that passes through your station to ensure only the highest standards and quality of workmanship leave the depot.
