We work with many familiar companies from offices to banks, cash handling services and Government buildings.With the global threat of terrorism increasing Frontier Pitts are growing to meet the needs of our customers with 40% of our equipment going overseas to more than 100 different countries.Engineering Graduate - Trainee Project Manager - Overview:As a Trainee Project Manager you will be trained in the planning, progression and installation of small projects such as barriers, turnstiles and roadblockers. You will be required to manage a number of these projects simultaneously. Many of the projects you will take ownership of will be for high profile clients therefore you will need to learn to deliver projects on time and within budget. You will need excellent communication skills as you will be trained to be able to interface with people at all levels from Company Directors to Civil Contractors both verbally and in writing. You will become their first point of contact and responsible for ensuring our customers are kept fully informed about their project through to its conclusion. This is an excellent opportunity to discover the real challenges and rewards of manufacturing and engineering.Essential skills and qualifications:

  • Able to demonstrate practical basic engineering knowledge gained either through industrial placement, degree or project work.
  • Able to use and understanding of Windows based packages, email, internet etc.
  • Able to communicate in a clear, concise, logical manner both verbally and written.
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Must be able to demonstrate attention to detail and have an excellent memory
  • Ability to deal with multiple issues under time pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to converse at all levels and work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
  • Ability to think commercially as well as technically
  • At least 2:2 degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • A full driving license (car) would be an advantage.
