Job Description

Data Engineer - £70,000 per annumI am currently working with an internationally renowned law firm who are looking for a Data Engineer to join their team based out of their London office. You will join a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Data Scientists and Data Engineers who work ontaking large amounts of unstructured data and turning this into structured data. In this role you will be looking to set up data schemas, creating and developing data pipelines and build solutions on top of this to ensure the data they have available is ina more usable format for the end user. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your skills and expertise in Data Engineering to a legal practice and make a real impact on a truly global business.As part of this role, you will be responsible for some of the following areas

  • Work as part of a large team to execute projects that address challenges that are face by the organisations clients
  • Develop automated processes across the data function
  • Collaborate with other team members to design, build and test data solutions
  • Design, develop and maintain data pipelines
  • Work with the wider team to ensure large amounts of unstructured data is developed into structured data and stored correctly
This is a salaried role paying up to £70,000 per annum depending on experience. The role is a hybrid opportunity with 2 days working out of the organisations office in Central London. There is also a company benefits package on offer which includes holidayallowance, company pension scheme and many more.To be successful in the role you will have
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and Python
  • Hands on experience working within an Azure environment would be beneficial
  • Experience building and optimising data pipelines
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to manipulate and extract value from large datasets.
  • Experiences with Data Warehousing and the methodologies behind it
