Job Description

Cyber Security Manager£55,000-£65,000CrawleyOur client is looking for a Cyber Security Manager to join their small and dynamic team. The Cyber Security Manager will be taking ownership of all operational security matters and will be the "face" of Cyber Security within the business and their affiliates. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar background and have a strong technical background.Responsibilities of the Cyber Security Manager

  • Leading the Cyber Security function across the company
  • Owning the definition, implementation, and maintenance of all operational security matters for the platform, systems, and applications.
  • Travel to office in Glasgow as and when required.
  • Establishing strong internal networks and teams as well as stakeholder management.
  • Management of 3 direct reports.
  • Willing to be hands-on when required.
  • Experience and requirements of the Cyber Security Manager
  • Extensive knowledge of Information Security, IT Security, or related experience
  • A strong technical understanding/background and prior knowledge of security frameworks and experience in the delivery and/or management of these
  • Project management skills: financial/budget management, scheduling, and resource management
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively to stakeholders across the business
  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate assessment and management of risk
  • Critical thinker, with strong problem-solving skills
  • Line management experience
  • Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL, COBIT as well as those from NIST, including 800-53 and Cybersecurity Framework
