Job Description

Urgently Required: Cover Supervisors in CrawleyLocation: Secondary Schools in CrawleyStart Date: ASAPEmployment Type: Full-Time or Part-TimeSalary: Competitive Rates of PayAbout Us: We are supporting well-established secondary schools in Crawley, committed to providing exceptional learning environment for all students. As part of the dedication to delivering quality education, all the secondary schools areseeking Cover Supervisors to join their teams. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth running of the school in the absence of regular teaching staff. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and managing the behaviour of students during class
  • Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and ensuring students remain on task
  • Supporting the educational progress of students by promoting a positive learning environment
  • Maintaining a safe and orderly classroom atmosphere
  • Collaborating with teaching staff and senior leadership to ensure consistency in educational delivery
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Maths and English GCSE or equivalent; a bachelors degree in education or related field is a plus
  • Previous experience working with secondary school students
  • Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to various subject areas and teaching styles
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing situations
