Job Description

Full or Part time Role | Children from Traumatic Backgrounds Care Home | Supportive company, great training, opportunities to progress. Support Worker required to work in a residential care home for children with learning disabilities.   • Support Worker Role: You will be working within a small residential setting supporting residents with moderate learning difficulties, ASD and Challenging behaviour. The shift patterns are worked will be a mix of early and lates with some long days and will include weekends. This role also includes some sleep in duties. No personal care is involved in this role. You will support vulnerable children in a person-centred manner, promoting their independence and allowing them to live as full life as possible.Support Worker Criteria: The perfect candidate will have relevant social care experience of supporting vulnerable people and will be used to the demands and rewards of such a role. Experience of working with people with autism, epilepsy and physical health is essential.
