Job Description

iscover a fulfilling opportunity as a Fabricator/Welder with competitive pay of up to £15.22 per hour. This full-time, permanent position offers a Monday to Friday schedule with the possibility of overtime.Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertly fabricate and weld steel components according to technical engineering drawings.
  • Execute single and multi-run fillets, burning, and grinding with precision.
  • Utilize hand tools efficiently.
  • Assess and select appropriate welding equipment and methods for specific tasks.
  • Inspect and refine welded surfaces to achieve the desired finish.
Role Requirements:
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and instructions.
  • Understanding of material properties.
  • Thorough inspection of finished work to ensure it meets specifications.
  • Adherence to safe work practices.
Personal Requirements:
  • Capability to work independently.
  • Strong practical skills.
  • Precision in work and good concentration levels.
  • Adaptability to a changing work environment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Hours of Work:
  • Monday-Thursday: 7:30 am-4 pm
  • Friday: 8 am-12 pm
  • Contracted hours: 36 hours per week
  • Overtime paid at time and a half; Sunday overtime paid at double time.
