Job Description

REED Engineering are delighted to be recruiting for a well known and highly respected client based in the Cramlington area who are seeking to employ, on a permanent basis, an experienceTerritory Sales Manager / Sales Engineer. To be consideredin this position you should have a proven track record inexpanding into new markets and increasing sales volume, year-on-year. You should also be qualified toHNC / HND - Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent engineering discipline/experience) and preferencewill be shown to candidates who have studied to BEng / BSc Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent engineering discipline/experience).Some of your key duties will include:

  • Responsible for ensuring consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues from replacement parts, system upgrades and repairs (Refit) and site services (SS) within the designated territory.
  • Generate quotations through CRM system, in conjunction with inside sales support teams.
  • Maintain existing customer base by ensuring companyvalue proposition matches clients business needs and qualification of all new requests for quotations in line with company process.
  • Develop and rolling maintenance of prioritised target list for new business acquisition, including action plan with value proposition for top 10 target clients.
  • Maintenance of CRM system for companyinstalled base in designated territory in line with company guidelines, including but not limited to;
  1. Ensuring all opportunities are registered in the CRM system.
  2. Cloning all opportunities closed won or lost.
  3. Updating Installed list with current installedtype/manufacturer, last change dates, etc
  4. Weekly / monthly order forecasting and full ownership and support of annual territory Business Plans process.
The pay structure for this position is extremely generous and is designed to ensure a high performing individual will be rewarded accordingly. Pay structure is outlined below:
  • Salary as outlined above
  • Car allowance or company car
  • Std. Sales variable comp. (typically 10-15% of salary expected based on achievement of OB goal, capped at 40% of salary).
  • Estimated earnings will be circa £60,000-£65,000 per annum
