Job Description

The CompanyOur client is a specialist manufacturing company to help maintain their high-quality standards they are no looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer on a fixed term contract.The Role

  • To ensure all parts and materials are received correct to agreed Specifications and Drawings.
  • Liaise with the Design team on new projects, parts and materials.
  • Liaise with Suppliers on new projects, parts and materials.
  • Ensure suppliers are using the latest tools and techniques to ensure parts are delivered to the companies right first time, all the time standard.
  • Ensure the chosen suppliers have the competence to produce the parts to the agreed specifications and drawings.
  • Ensure Suppliers carry out the acceptance process (APQP, PPAP, FAI) to the agreed standards.
The Person
  • HND or Equivalent as a minimum in an Engineering discipline (Degree desirable).
  • Industry experience in a similar environment desirable.
  • Mid/High volume manufacturing experience is desirable.
  • Experience ideally in a Mechanical discipline preferred.
  • Extensive experience in a Quality role.
  • Use of APQP and PPAP.
  • Engineering drawing understanding.
  • Ability to travel sometimes at short notice in the UK and international.
