Job Description

Adecco Northumberland are looking to recruit a Stores Operatives for their client based in Cramlington on a temporary to permanent basis. This is working day shift only Monday - Friday. Our client is seeking a dedicated and organised individual to join their team as a Stores Operative. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse orstorage facility. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders or invoices.
  • Unload, unpack, and store incoming inventory items in designated locations.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and locations.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to established procedures.
  • Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organised work environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Computer skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
