Position: Senior Mechanical Design EngineerLocation of office: CramlingtonOur client, a business who are leaders in technical consultancy whilst offering their own bespoke product design arm are looking to recruit a proactive and dynamic Mechanical Design Engineer to the team. The business is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineerwho can push a design through in a sharp timeframe. This is a role that will allow you to work on multiple designs, there will be clear deliverables in terms of time and cost and hence the business needs problem solvers.The business needs a Mechanical Design Engineer who can sit in front of a problem and find a solution. The role is varied, and you could be working on the businesses own product which is a complex mechanical system with moving parts, or you could be workingon a variety of projects for the consultancy arm such as, sporting design, automation systes or robotic systems.Whilst this Mechanical Design role certainly involves Research and Design and Development, it is not a role where the R&D phase can go on for 5 years, deadlines need to be met, hence we need a Mechanical Design Engineer who has an outcome focus and a deliveryfocus. The business is comfortable which 3D CAD package the Mechanical Design Engineer has worked with, be it Solidworks, Inventor or CREO for example, the business itself uses Autodesk Inventor, but will accept any package.Key Skills:
