Job Description

The CompanySenior Internal Auditor - Hybrid/remote working available - Global organisationWe are delighted to be supporting a global manufacturing organisation in recruiting a Senior Internal Auditor. This Auditor role is a new position which has arisen due to promotion. Since this is a position with a global organisation, there will be occasionaltravel involved. Flexible working and hybrid working patterns will be accommodated depending on the individual.The RoleThe Internal Auditors duties will include:

  • Drafting audit assignment plans, carrying out audit testing, agreeing recommendations and drafting reports to a high standard to support delivery of the internal audit plan.
  • Planning and carrying out JSOX testing, agreeing action and drafting reports to a high standard
  • Maintaining oversight of progress v annual plans and reporting progress
  • Maintaining oversight, following up and reporting of the progress of previously agreed
  • Assisting with the company wide risk identification and assessment process to support production of the annual internal audit plan.
The PersonThe requirements for the Internal Auditor are:
  • Demonstrable experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Previous experience in a similar position.
  • Experience or good knowledge of compiling internal audit plans.
  • Experience of using audit software and developing use to achieve efficiency.
  • Thorough understanding of risk management, risk identification, control and assurance.
  • Thorough understanding of effective internal audit processes.
  • Good knowledge and experience of sampling and testing techniques.
  • Previous experience of JSOX would be highly beneficial
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing sector would also be beneficial.
