Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for ensuring quality in the manufacturing industry Adecco are seeking a dedicated and motivated Quality Inspector to join our client based in Cramlington. At this thriving manufacturing company, quality and excellence are the driving forces behind their success. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving quality standards by conducting meticulous inspections and collaboratingwith suppliers to uphold their commitment to excellence.Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough inspections in accordance with our Product Quality Requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all traceability-related information, ensuring compliance with our Management System.
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers to monitor and enhance quality-related performance.
  • Manage quality documentation for our manufactured products, meeting the specific requirements of our valued customers.
  • Monitor calibration status and maintain records for all inspection equipment.
  • Participate actively in our 6S activities, contributing to a clean, organised, and efficient workspace.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, bringing your ideas to the table and contributing to our quest for excellence.
  • Adhere closely to our Quality Management and Environment Systems Procedures, promoting a culture of best practises.
  • Prioritise safety by adhering to our Safety Procedures and Policies, putting the well-being of yourself and others first.
  • Construct and analyse various quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), serving as a valuable resource in measuring our success.
Desired Skills:
  • Previous experience in a quality inspection role within the manufacturing industry will be an advantage.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational abilities in managing quality documentation and inspection records.
  • Familiarity with calibration processes and equipment maintenance.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and a proactive mindset in driving positive change.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management and Environment Systems.
  • Commitment to adhering to strict safety regulations.
