My client based in Cramlington are looking for a Quality Inspector to join the business. This is a permanent position to work for a very successful business with fantastic opportunities and benefits for the right candidate. You will ideally come from anengineering background and be apprenticeship trained; previous experience with of working with CMM Machines, SIX Sigma experience, to a designated level and Minitab for statistical analysis would also be advantageous. The ideal candidate would have the following:Salary: £40,000Job Role* Responsible for creating CMM programmes and measuring reports for all new product introduction* All aspects of CMM usage from programming to operation* ISIR/PPAP inspection* Inspection of First Offs* Layout inspection reports* Gauge Calibration* Participate in generic quality department tasks such as daily scrap runs and data entry into scrap systemEssential Skills & Requirements* Must be able to interpret engineering drawings* Must have general CMM operational skills and be versed in running established CMM programmes.* Must be open to working a 2-shift working pattern (dayshift and afternoon shift).* Must be available for weekend work and overtime when required to meet the needs of the business.* Must be self-motivated and have robust organisational skills Preferred skills & Requirements* Offline CMM programming (without CAD models)* CMM programming, utilising CAD models.* Gear measurement background would be highly advantageous but not essentialShould you have any additional questions - please call or emailAdecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
