Job Description

Adecco Northumberland are delighted to support our client in a search for Quality Engineer Based in Cramlington.Weve worked with the client for a number of years and supported with many vacancies - were looking to provide a calibre of candidates who can support the business through growth and success.Skills/Experience Required: Experience:

  • Minimum 5 Years in a quality role.
  • Experience with 8D problem solving methodology.
  • Experience delivering PPAP & prototypes.
  • Experience with Weld Inspection.
  • Experience with CMM operation and programming.
Qualifications:
  • HNC in Engineering or similar Quality related qualification.
  • Internal Auditor (preferably Lead).
  • PCN Level 2 DPI (desirable).
  • CSWIP 3.0 Visual Weld Inspection (desirable).
Role/Responsibilities:
  • Deputise for department manager on quality management aspects of the function.
  • Lead the problem-solving aspect of the quality function.
  • Support the function in the delivery of the following:
    • Measuring Equipment Calibration.
    • Material Certification.
    • Product Inspection.
    • Non-conformance Handling.
    • NPI & PPAP delivery.
    • Incoming goods inspections.
    • Internal Audits.
    • QMS Reviews/Updates.
    • Customer / Supplier Liaison.
    • Continual Improvement Projects.
