Job Description

IBP are currently recruiting for a Project Coordinator to support the delivery manager and supervisors to ensure all civils & cabling work orders are programmed and delivered to time in a safe and compliant manner and to ensure the compliance of the supplychain to all relevant administration support processes applicable to the program of works.The main duties include but are not limited to:

  • Support the delivery managers in the management of the work stack delivery.
  • Co-ordination of Governing and dependent jobs on relevant MS.
  • Provide timely and accurate client updates
  • Compilation of compliant works programme, production of analytical statistical data and proactive publication of both to Operation Project Managers and suppliers.
  • To monitor programmes and target Delivery Managers to deliver jobs to the required timescales maintaining compliance with all NRSWA, quality and safety requirements.
  • Monitor and publish Delivery Manager & Supplier internal and external KPI results.
  • Proactively drive all necessary actions to ensure orders are fluid at the earliest possible opportunity.
  • 3rdParty Relationship Management.
  • Provide a Client One Stop interface point
  • Provide a direct interface between Works Control and the Operational Delivery Managers.
  • Review current processes and procedures to identify potential IT solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Design implement and support IT solutions to Works Control issues
  • Support Works Control Team when IT issues arise.
  • Design and generate ad hoc reports to meet senior management / Client requests
The ideal candidate must possess the following skills and experience:
  • Civils/cabling coordination experience ideally on telco projects
  • Good people interfacing skills
  • Hands on approach
  • Good understanding and application of the necessary specification and processes associated with communication networks.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with client contract management representatives.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with HA representatives.
  • Excellent IT / Microsoft Excel competency
  • Permit noticing experience
  • Ability to collect, collate and analyse information to help influence decision making
  • A team player, adept at holding others to account through a challenging and supportive leadership style, whilst consistently delivering on their own commitments
  • Able to identify, understand and deliver the requirements of clients and all key stakeholders.
  • Understand that continuous improvement is a foundation for our long term economic success
  • Good working Knowledge of work management systems and windows packages-(XP/Excel/Word)
  • Financial awareness
  • Good awareness of Health & Safety and Quality Assurance Procedures, Roads and Street Works Act 1991, Construction Design Management Regulations and Section 74 Regulations.
  • Able to work with complex technical drawings
  • Some prior Telecommunication Knowledge an advantage, especially in civils works.
