Job Description

Adecco Northumberland are looking to recruit a production operative/ labourer to work for their client based in Cramlington on an on-going basis working day shift only Monday - Friday. This will be working within the woodwork environment.Job Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of materials for woodworking projects.
Operate and maintain woodworking machinery and hand tools.
Perform various tasks, such as sanding, staining, and finishing wood products.
Assist woodworkers in the assembly of wood components.
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Load and unload materials from delivery trucks.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a woodworking or carpentry environment is preferred.
Knowledge of basic woodworking tools and equipment.
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials.
Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic understanding of safety protocols in a woodworking environment.
