Job Description

Blair West is working with an established manufacturing business based in Cramlington, as they look to appoint a part-qualified Management Accountant to their finance team. Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, this is an office-based role thatwill cover management accounts production, business partnering needs and forecasting and analysis work for the business. The opportunity:

  • Preparation of monthly financial close.
  • Completion of month-end routines for accurate financial reporting.
  • Timely reporting to meet strict deadlines.
  • Assistance in preparing monthly MMR and local Management Accounts.
  • Distribution of departmental financial reports vs budgets.
  • Analysis of production variances and reporting explanations.
  • Assistance in budgeting, forecasting, and annual audit processes.
  • Development of close links with various departments to achieve KPIs.
  • Building models for future profitability levels.
  • Identifying opportunities for product construction improvements.
  • Ad-hoc project involvement across various business areas.
Youll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:
  • Experience producing management accounts.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA).
  • Experience using SAP/ERP system advantageous.
  • Strong MS Office knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of Power Bi is preferential but not essential.
