Job Description

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for an exciting opportunityWe are currently recruiting for a prestigious client who are seeking a talented individual to join their team. If you have a strong background in electrical engineering and a passion for problem-solving, then this could be the perfect role for you.Salary: £38K - £40KKey Responsibilities:

  • Conduct planned preventive maintenance of equipment, tools, and facilities to ensure safe and efficient working practises.
  • Install and modify equipment as required, utilising your electrical background and knowledge of PLCs.
  • Carry out root cause analysis of breakdowns and implement effective re occurrence prevention plans.
  • Operate access platforms including scissor lifts and cherry pickers to access equipment.
  • Utilise digital resources to access information, emails, and complete reports.
  • Train and mentor apprentices, supporting the growth and development of the team.
Requirements:
  • Time served electrician with experience in a high volume manufacturing environment.
  • Good working knowledge of PLCs; 17th or 18th Edition preferred but not essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict safety guidelines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members
