We are currently recruiting for additional Learner Recruitment and Engagement Officers to join our fantastic team.Were looking for someone who shares our passion for helping others, who is enthusiastic with a genuine interest in supporting people to be the best they can be. An understanding of the adult learning sector would be advantageous along with outstanding communicationand customer service skills and ideally, some knowledge of supporting unemployed or NEET groups into training and employment.If you feel you meet the criteria, get in touch now, wed love to hear from you!Skills North East are a private training provider, working across the health, wellbeing and security sectors. We are passionate about working with both employed and unemployed learners to give them the skills and knowledge to improve their lives and employmentopportunities while supporting them to achieve their potential.We strive to deliver the best possible service to our learners and other stakeholders at all times and are committed to empowering people to move forward and reach their goals.Duties include:Sourcing learners for courses and training opportunities, aiming to lead into sustainable employment or further learning.Supporting learners through their journey to ensure the most positive learning experience possible.Building and maintaining strong relationships with referral partners and other stakeholders.Recording all information in line with company policies and legislation.Utilising available recruitment tools such as stakeholder referrals, social media, job boards, CV searching, etc.Promoting upcoming learning opportunities to ensure advance interest in courses.Prepare marketing materials and create deliver face to face presentations to showcase Skills North East and the learning options we provide.Characteristics and skills: Previous knowledge of the learning and development sector and/or recruitment experience.A positive and proactive approach with the ability to think outside of the box to gain success.Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt information delivery according to the audience.Proven track record of delivering results, ideally with experience of working with unemployed or NEET groups.Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.A high level of self-motivation and the ability to respond well to tight deadlines in order to achieve agreed objectives.An understanding of the learning and development sector and the barriers or challenges that individuals may face while working to achieve their goals.
