The successful candidate will effectively action the flow of materials and finish parts in line with the production plan whilst maintaining strong internal and external relationships, providing efficient expediting solutions in discussion with the productionmanager.The duties will include but not be limited to:· Discussing plans with the Production Manager and expediting the agreed plan· Controlling the location and availability of parts and materials ready for the building of products· Manage stock for both raw materials and finished goods· Monitor the movement of materials & parts to meet workflow requirements· Manage Inbound and Outbound products· Monitor and provide feedback to the Production manager and Operations DirectorWhat the successful candidate will require:· Valid FLT license· Great organisational skills· Excellent IT skills particularly with Excel· A logical and detailed approach to problem-solving· Experience in a manufacturing environment· Knowledge of Lean processes and bottleneck planning· Ability to manage workload to achieve deadlines
