Job Description

The clientNigel Wright is delighted to be partnering with thismarket-leading ecommerce retailer.The business is the category leader in this sector, having developed strong visibility across multiple channels and has built an enviable market position based on its design-ledproduct collection and excellent customer service.The brand ranks as one of the top vendors in their category on large marketplaces and is also growing a strong position as a key supplier to online specialist retailers.The business has expanded into new European territories and is looking for a trading led Head of eCommerce to drive their UK and European websites forward.The roleThe Head of Ecommerce plays a pivotal role in the organisations online retail operations. This position is responsible for developing and executing the ecommerce strategy, overseeing the management, growth, and development of all the digital channels. Youwill feel comfortable sitting on the Senior Leadership Team and confident in working cross function and influencing upwards during a period of growth.Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the ecommerce strategy in alignment with overall business objectives to increase revenue and profitability
  • Manage and lead a team
  • Identify, develop and own new territory websites in Europe
  • Launch and develop the new retail brand across Europe working cross- functionally across the business and in collaboration with 3rd parties
  • Drive increase in sales, profit, and market share across domestic and European sales channels
  • Collaborate internally with other departments to understand the brand proposition and translate this into commercial actions within online trading
  • Develop and manage the ecommerce budget
  • Reporting and analysing on data and ROI
About you
  • Recent experience working in a senior sales role in E-Commerce with evidence of a successful track record in delivering sales.
  • Strong understanding of Ecommerce platforms
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Proven commercial judgement with the ability to positively manage a revenue and profit driven team
  • Persuasive and enthusiastic leader - demonstrated through confident and informed decision making
