Job Description

The CompanyFinance Manager - Part time role - 20 hours/week - Office BasedNigel Wright are supporting a small manufacturing organisation in recruiting a part time Finance Manager to join their team. This is great opportunity for an experienced accountant who is seeking the flexibility of a part time role.The RoleThe duties of the Finance Manager will include:

  • Providing financial support to the the businesses within the group.
  • To prepare financial reports for Management/Board, including Profit & Loss.
  • Ensures statutory accounts and returns are accurate and meet agreed timescales and legal requirements, interpreting these where necessary.
  • Assist with Cash Flow & Bank Position.
  • Intercompany Postings.
  • Reconcile monthly Aged Payables reports, GRNI (Goods Received but Not Invoiced) & Intercompany.
  • Monthly KPI’s
  • VAT Returns
The PersonThe requirements for the Finance Manager role are:
  • A minimum of 18 months experience working in a finance background is essential.
  • Experience of a manufacturing environment is highly beneficial
  • Experience ofVAT Accounting (PVA) is required
  • Strong Excel is required
