Job Description

Finance Analyst

  • Job Type: Full-time, long term temporary
  • Location: Cramlington
  • Salary: £16p/h
My client is seeking a FinanceAnalyst to join their team, focusing on maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our ERP system. The ideal candidate will be skilled in data cleansing, standardisation, and analysis, ensuring that our purchasing data is preciseand effectively integrated within NetSuite. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Cleanse data in the ERP system to identify and remove duplicate items, proposing necessary adjustments to maintain data quality.
  • Standardise item names in NetSuite, following guidelines to ensure consistency across the system.
  • Link model names and items to NetSuite entries using UPC or other codes, collaborating with the team to establish a single reference point between systems.
  • Utilise advanced Excel functions and formulas to perform in-depth data analysis and reporting tasks.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and visualisations to present data insights to stakeholders, aiding in strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets for tracking and monitoring data quality metrics, ensuring continuous improvement in data management processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in data cleansing and standardisation within ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to utilise advanced Excel functions and formulas.
  • Experience in preparing reports and visualisations to effectively communicate data insights.
  • Adept at developing and maintaining Excel spreadsheets for data quality tracking.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high data quality standards.
