Job Description

Tranquil Recruitment Solutions are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to join our valued client, a prestigious Architectural firm based in Cramlington. They are currently seeking a diligent, experienced Estimating Manager to join their dynamic team.As an Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for managing, developing, and overseeing all estimating functions. You will be a strategic thinker who can provide leadership and support to the estimating team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes.

  • Company car.
  • 25 days holiday per year. 5 of these are to be taken at Xmas.
  • Pricing project up to circa £3M
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all estimation processes and ensure they comply with the companys standards- Manage 2 estimators and provide coaching and direction as needed, also carry out appraisals to staff-Report KPI’s to line manager- Develop and implement new strategies to improve estimating procedures and practices- Collaborate with team members to prepare cost estimates and bid packages- Review architectural plans and prepare quantity needs- Evaluate pricing and make bid adjustments as necessaryRequired Skills & Experience- Relevant experience in an Estimating Manager role within the architectural sector-Able to use various system house software packages-Good IT software skills- Excellent leadership and team management skills- Proficient in using software for estimating and project management- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities- Excellent communication and negotiation skills- Strong knowledge of architectural processes, materials, and costsApplication Process:Interested candidates who meet the above requirements are invited to submit their CV.
