Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a full time Consultant Physician in Respiratory and General Medicine. This post will be trustwide with clinics across trust sites and rotation to provide consultant cover to the acute respiratory wards at the Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital (NSECH).The successful candidate will be encouraged to develop sub-specialist interests to complement the other members of the department and any sub-specialist interest can be considered. Sub-speciality clinics in cough, lung cancer, pleural disease, bronchiectasis, interstitial lung disease, asthma and sleep medicine are currently provided within the department. The new post will be encouraged to either support current services or develop new sub-specialty interests.
