Job Description

Reed Procurement Specialist recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a well known Oil and Gas company to recruit for the role of Buyer.***THIS IS A TEMPORARY ROLE FOR 4 WEEKS***

  • £17 per hour
  • 40 hours per week
  • Cramlington based
The Role:-
  • Daily co-ordination and resource allocation within the procurement team.
  • Control all aspects of the project procurement process.
  • Manage supplier selection decisions.
  • Planning of procurement to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure expediting is carried out on a regular basis.
  • Co-ordinating the procurement of consumables and hiring equipment.
  • Liaising with suppliers to acquire delivery documents.
The Person:-
  • Buying experience essential
  • SAGE experience essential, preferably SAGE 500
  • Knowledge of engineering/construction industry would be advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Capable of working on own initiative and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
