Job Description

Autodesk AdministratorSalary: Dependant on ExperienceType: PermanentLocation: Newcastle upon TynePosition Summary:A successful company in the North East are looking for an AutoDesk Administrator to work closely on database design and support. The successful candidate will work closely with our global, cross functional teams to develop, improve, and leverage our currentAutodesk / Vault capabilities.Position Responsibilities:

  • Work closely on database design changes to meet business requirements.
  • Develop innovation, strategies, processes, and best practices.
  • Design, architect, and build databases from determining business requirements.
  • Write and troubleshoot complex stored procedures.
  • Manage Software (updates, service packs, upgrades).
  • Standardize engineering processes, databases, and software.
  • Own Engineering tools. Manage the version upgrade projects.
  • Leverage best practices across regions and deploy training where needed.
  • Develop reports for each business to drive metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities.
  • Work with each region to lean processes out and eliminate no value-added activities.
Essential skills include
  • Demonstrable experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Comfortable working on several projects simultaneously.
  • Computer literate and able to use a wide range of software packages.
  • Ability to create comprehensive procedures and reports.
Familiarity in the following:
  • Autodesk Network License Manager (ADLM)
  • Autodesk Vault Professional Server
  • Web Server (IIS)
  • Autodesk Data Management Server (ADMS) Console
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Autodesk Vault Professional Client
  • Vault Client Add-ins
  • Autodesk Job Processor
  • Vault Project Sync
Desirable
  • Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing company within a similar role.
  • Experience of working internationally.
