Job Description

Warehouse OperativeWorking AM Shift: Monday to Thursday: 06:00 – 14:00 Friday: 06:00 – 13:10. PM Shift: Monday to Thursday: 14:00 – 22:30 Friday: 13:10 – 18:20 (You would rotate one week on each.)Pay: £11.54 p/h (PM shift allowance £0.10 p/h)Whats in it for mePeople Solutions are looking for Warehouse Operatives inCoventry!Benefits:

Day to Day Duties
  • Assemble quality parts in accordance with process, achieving build requirements, in line with customer deadlines
  • Operate machinery, for example welders, spin riveters, pneumatic screwdrivers and other machinery as instructed
  • Pack assemblies/parts to the defined quantity and standard
  • Maintain housekeeping standards of workstation/area
  • Carry out and record initial safety checks and in-process quality checks
  • Request material via kanban and highlight stock shortages on the line
  • Complete breakdown documentation
  • Carry out initial basic maintenance of machinery (TPM)
  • Release first-off parts
  • Record scrap
  • Participate in team meetings
  • Complies with all company policies, procedures and guidelines including Brose code of conduct, FIRST, IDEAS, health and safety, environment, quality, discipline, grievance and equal opportunities
Essential Skills
  • Literate and numerate to the companys defined standard
  • Must be over 18 years old
  • Must be able to work any pattern of shifts over 7 days
  • Reliable
  • Flexible
  • Quality-conscious
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Must be able to work in a team or independently
Desirable Experience
  • Experience in warehouse/ production environment
