About The RoleAre you passionate about Cyber Security and developing/operating the latest state of the art cyber-security data loss platforms Working alongside the Senior Incident Responders and help to prevent organised cyber-attacks. Please read furtherTo be a successful member of our team, you will need to be passionate about Cyber Security and enjoy analysing and performing initial investigations. Having a technical mind and ability to learn fast, solving complex technical problems are the key skills forthis role.In this role you will be configuring the latest machine learning and human behaviour, analytical data loss prevention platforms; whilst using data from the Dark Web, and supporting intelligence feeds to inform security and the IT department about up-comingand imminent cyber-threats. You will also support and work closely with IT teams and projects to help prioritise security vulnerabilities so the Society remains safe and secure.About YouTo be successful in this role youll need to: Self-learner and be able to own a problem end to end. A technical qualification or significant experience working with vulnerability management and DLP platforms. Have a relevant security foundational qualification such HND, BSc or professional certification. Good verbal and written communication skills and being able to explain complex technical problems to a wider audience. Three years experience working in a security team with hands on experience with technology. Good understanding of cyber-threats and how theses relate to financial organisations.
