Job Description

Trade Engineer - Plasterer Salary £31,374 Location Coventry Basis: Full Time Type: PermanentWork Pattern: 37 hours per week, Monday to FridayOur clients social purpose is to provide homes that are a foundation for life. As a trade engineer within the reactive repairs department one of the key roles for these opportunities is to engage in high levels of customer service as well as offering yourtrade experience and knowledge to their wide range of diverse customers.If you feel that you can offer this type of customer focussed service, then they would love to hear from you.In housing you can make a real difference, the role of a Trade Engineer will involve:

  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Carrying out repairs in a customer’s home
  • Working with a Supervisor and planner to meet appointments for repairs
  • Managing your van stock levels
  • Always remaining professional
As a trade engineer they need you to have:
  • A qualification in your trade (City & Guilds or NVQ2)
  • Full driving licence
  • Be a good communicator with a friendly approach
  • The right attitude for excellent customer service
Our client would be really excited if you have:
  • Other trade skills in addition to your qualification trade (multiskilling)
  • Experience of using a PDA to receive and complete jobs
  • Previous Health & Safety experience
  • Previous experience working for a social housing provider
