Job Description

Job role: Tooling EngineerLocation: CoventryWorking hours: Day Shift (8.30am -5pm)Pay: £14.00 PH DOEJob RoleOptima are looking for a Tooling Engineer to join our Precision Manufacturing client based in Coventry. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing components to drawing tolerance and specifications, efficiently and accurately as requiredby customer specifications.Our Ideal Candidate

  • In conjunction with the CNC team leaders, Project leaders, Section Supervisors/Works Manager oversee the day-to-day operation of the CNC Milling to ensure the smooth running of the section.
  • Ensure effectively and regular communication with CNC milling supervisor and programme writer ensure loading board instructions are accurate and up to date and that the section runs at maximum production.
  • Complete tooling set up sheets and kitting lists adhering to and developing company procedures and working in conjunction with stores and consumable supervisor.
  • Redefine set up sheets to incorporate last standards where necessary and ensure they are effectively communicated to all personnel.
  • Ensure machine maintenance is adhered to as per company standard.
  • Adhere to company quality procedures as per company quality manual ISO9000.2000.
