We are currently recruiting for 4 timetabling officers to assist the current team during their busy period.Recent increases in student numbers, along with new buildingsandextensive refurbishment mean we need a larger resource team to enable us to optimise room use and ensure our timetables enhance the student experience. We have also experienced an additional workload due to covid-19.You must demonstrate experience of using software to schedule resources and also an ability to work with other information systems. You will need excel software skills and experience of collating information from different sources, as well as an ability to monitor and audit room utilisation. Specific experience of CMIS and/ or Universe software is an advantage. This is a varied and challenging role, which requires attention to detail and an ability to prioritise your tasks and work under pressure. You will need excellent communication skills to obtain information from academic colleagues and other areas such as facilities and registry, as well as answering queries from both staff and students. With limited space available, you also need to be able to negotiate space use with academic teams to ensure equitable use of our facilities.
