Job Description

he CompanyWe are recruiting for our client who are specialists in their manufacturing sector, they are looking for a Technical Sales Executive who will lead the technical sales process on behalf of the company for existing clients, along with the development of new client business opportunities.The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the RFID technology, sales / business development, pre-contract technical processes and capabilities while supporting end-to-end business opportunities from pipeline to on-site handover.You will need to be highly technical, with relevant sales exposure within an RFID engineering environment and the ability to travel UK / Globally to proactively engage with clients to understand their challenges and providing bespoke solutions.The Role

  • Responsible for ongoing development and ensuring success with new and existing clients, to secure work and tender opportunities through collaborative engagement with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Possess demonstrable achievement within technical sales and the ability to nurture profitable relationships with a cross section of clients.
  • Create and lead the expansion of the company’s service offering to a broader client base while managing your own workload to increase the number of enquiries, leading to an increase in successful contract awards.
  • Lead in creation and the submission of all bids, tenders and pre-qualification documents by adding valued input to pre-contract terms and conditions, negotiations through to on-site commissioning.
  • Adherence to the company requirements including pipeline reporting, sales opportunity reviews, preparation of tender board papers and presentation of opportunities to management.
  • You will provide commercial input to the bid process to ensure the company offering is in line with the market standing and offers the client compelling value requirements
  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate to both internal and external senior management.
  • The Person
  • Degree or post-graduate in electronics, physics or another relevant topic.
  • Experience with RFID systems and applications.
  • Extensive knowledge of LF Active RFID technology (125KHz).
  • Experience with LF, HF and UHF passive technology.
  • Knowledge of RFID fields and approval standards, ETSI 300-330, FCC, CE etc.
  • Hands-on experience of using RF test equipment such as oscilloscopes.
  • Be willing to cover Leeds to London.
