Job Description

LHH Recruitment Solutions are proud to be working alongside an international market leading business within Coventry who are currently seeking a Technical Financial Accountant to join their established finance team. They are a modern business, with a hybridworking routine and some flexibility on working hours.As a Technical Financial Accountant, you will lead the completion of Monthly Group Consolidation & Statutory reporting whilst also providing support with year-end documentation & audits. Alongside this, there will be business partnering responsibilitiesas you provide technical advice and provide adhoc project support. This would be a suitable role for someone who has experience within an Accountancy practice or whom has had experience of completing these duties in a previous position.Accountabilitys

  • Support with monthly group consideration and reporting.
  • Ownership of month end and preparing statutory accounts.
  • Lead the team and ensure reporting is raised in a timely manner, and that the information is accurate
  • Supporting in year end documentation and support internal/external auditors
  • Provide technical advice to the wider business
  • Present data to senior stakeholders, and challenge/influence decision making.
  • There will also be opportunities to be involved in projects that will drive process improvements and profitability
Experience, Skills and Qualifications
  • Knowledge of IFRS
  • Qualified or finalist within Accounting: (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Experience within a accounting practice would be an advantage, but is not essential.
  • Previous experience with completing month & year end documentation/reporting and audits will be required.
  • Confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders, and challenging decisions if required
