HM Land Registry ("HMLR") and Inspire People are partnering together to bring you an exciting opportunity for individuals with knowledge of high-level design in either Operations, Engineering, Security, or Software, with the necessary stakeholder and communicationskills to join HMLR as Technical Architects, as they continue on a major transformation programme to fulfill HMLRs ambition to become the worlds leading land registry for speed, simplicity and an open approach to data. Remote and hybrid working opportunitiesexist from multiple UK locations including London, Swansea, Nottingham, with the requirement for site visits to Plymouth twice a month. £52,130 - £54,520. HMLRs existing products and technologies include AWS, Azure, OpenShift, Linux, Windows, Postgres, DB2, Oracle Fusion, Python, Java, Microsoft & Dynamics 365, Data & Analytics Platforms. Given the scale of change, HMLR is seeking individuals who as Technical Architects can understand business requirements, taking a holistic view to identify the things we need to change, but still getting close to the technology and delivery aspects of architecture.You will work with collaborative fast paced teams to deliver the right outcomes for the organisation. Essential Skills and Experience* Experience of designing for large projects and seeing those designs through to delivery, taking accountability for the design of end-to-end solutions. * Planning for decommissioning, maintainability, performance, reliability, and scalability. * Developing technical strategies and roadmaps * Understanding technology and the needs of stakeholders and then using this knowledge to deliver good architectural designs. * Showing where complex problems, with no obvious solutions have been solved and collaboration with multiple agile delivery teams to deliver effective outcomes * Delivering compliance in line with security requirements, legal and our legislative responsibilities. * Leading and influencing diverse groups, able to negotiate and sell technical ideas and concepts in a simple way to influence at all levels * Identifying and managing change and its impact and the ability to multi-task and prioritise projects, being able to respond quickly to changing circumstances. * Proactively keeping abreast of upcoming technologies and changes in the industry.
